Hello Kung Fu Breakfastians! Welcome back to my Muse Factory. Today I have for you five new sets! To start off we have the return of The Spritely One who brought along a friend by the name of Kupakins. This fun Seattle cosplayer is kind of new to musing so Sprite wanted to show her a good time in California. The two of got together a few shoots including one with yours truly at The Scary Dairy. This was my second time visiting Camarillo's abandoned wonder and I was very delighted with all that we did. Lately I have learned though that bee's love abandoned places.
After that I got the wonderful and beautiful opportunity to reconnect with OG KFB Muse Stephanie Weitekamp for a beautiful pregnancy shoot at Switzer Falls. Stephanie and her man are about to embark on the ultimate collaboration and I was so happy to share with her this beautiful moment of creation. Though she we pregnant and we definitely highlighted that, it was really a pretty normal shoot for us.
The special train for the next two sets as I got a chance to reconnect with a friend of mine from college. Vegan Mayhem and I went to Ithaca together where we worked on the radio station and would get lunches together going back to 2006! We are friends on social media so I would see her posts from time to time and just a few weeks I was thinking if we were ever in the same area that I'd love to photograph her. Out of the blue just a few days after that thought she hit me up saying she and her husband Tom would be coming through LA and wondering if I would be interested in shooting together. I was beyond stoked. My friend and muse Stephanie Monty tagged along as the four of us headed to Murphy Ranch. Unbeknownst to me at the time it turned out Tom is a painter so he and Stephanie painted a beautiful mural together while Ms. Mayhem and I shot. We had a wonderful time catching up and shooting and the four of us headed to Venice after to grab a bite and a few extra night photos.
I thought this would be our only interaction during their trip, but I wound up having some extra time a few days later that led to a couple adventures including Stephanie and I heading to the Venice Free Walls for a painting sesh where we met up with Vegan Mayhem and Tom once again. After the painting Stephanie had to peace out and the three of us took a little night adventure to Vasquez Rocks. It was fun to play with some photos from my Pineagram series and really connect with these beautiful people.
To finish off we have a brand new set with Sarah Seraine. Sarah and I had been planning for weeks to do a shoot involving Sarah body painting herself. I thought the best place for this would be Devil's Gate Dam. We fit in some cool outfits, shot some really killer Pineagrams in the tunnel, and finished with the beautiful body painting. We jammed out to Goth/Industrial tunes, talked about life, and did a really amazing job so I think you'll particularly enjoy this set!
