Hello my lovelies! Didn't meant to abandon you again for two weeks but my computer crashed! It's back up and running now (thankfully). I'm still a bit behind on posting sets, editing some photos, etc. but I'm still plugging along. Since last we spoke I had a few shoots and at least one funny encounter. Shoots included Astraia Esprit at Devil's Gate Dam, Chelsea Lugosi at Angels Gate Bunkers, Talia Schulz doing fire for a night shoot at Vasquez Rocks, Alondra Excene Shields for a night shoot in downtown, and capping things off with my first child model in Pasadena for a clothing company called Idol Mind.
In between all that was last Sunday where I was giving an Uber ride (specifically an Uber Pool) to a couple of really cool people starting at LAX. The airport was bonkers, I was exhausted from the weekend and ready to be done, hoping this would be my last ride for the night. It took me a little while to get through the airport but once I did my passengers (a guy and a girl) were ready to go. The guy and girl really hit it off realizing they were from the same small area in the middle of the country, swapping stories about little known towns and sites. The conversation turned to LA activities (as these things tend to). It turned out the guy is a drummer and multi-talented musician and the girl is an animator working for the creator of Ren and Stimpy. As they are talking we got a request to pick up a girl in Inglewood. The guy and the girl were both heading up in to the Northeast part of LA so had we not picked up this girl we would have simply taken highways most of the way, but this diverted us on the south side of LA to surface streets. Before picking up the girl the two passengers asked about me so I told them about my photography and specifically my street art work with Angelina Christina.
Well we picked up and dropped off the girl in Inglewood to slightly further east in the same general vicinity as she had just gotten off work, but we learned very little about her as our conversation about street art continued. As we were driving down a neighborhood immediately after dropping this girl off and heading to our next destinations we just so happened up The RV Angelina painted from my most recent set here on the site! Mind you I hadn't seen the RV since Fall of last year when the owner died and neither Angelina or myself knew of its whereabouts and I just sort of found it on this random Uber Pool through a part of town I'm virtually never in in some random neighborhood. I wrote down the address and plan to return but just a crazy situation (and of course I texted Angelina it's coordinates). Eventually I dropped off both riders close fairly close to my place and with enough money made to end the night.
I think that is the most I've talked about something unrelated to today's set in a while but definitely a story worth sharing. Anyway, today we return to one of my favorite spots, Switzer Falls with one of my favorite muses, Lady Krondor. The day we ventured out there just happened to be one of my favorite. It had been raining a lot in LA but on this particular day we rolled through the mountains to discover a bevy of fog rolling around. It made for some extra spooky photos throughout the overlooks. It wasn't quite so foggy down below but the light was extra beautiful. Lady Krondor and I talked a lot about sexual magic and of course there were plenty of opportunities for some nudity. Once again we had a great shoot but honestly some of my favorite photos from the set include Lady K fully clothed, though some of my favorites she is fully nude so I guess it was just a great set overall. I bring up the clothed thing because the photo below is the one I used during my solo show in May. The show included a number of artistic nudes, but my shot of Lady Krondor (the woman who is generally nude) was this one of her dressed. Just kind of funny but Lady Krondor is an amazing model regardless of what she is or isn't wearing. Enjoy!
