Sometimes I feel like posting new blogs is like talking with my Mom. Like what's happening with you? Oh well I currently have some pieces on display at Delicious Vinyl thanks to a pop-up courtesy of The Bloody Gums Collective, what about you? Oh nothing too special, just did some amazing shoots this week with Lina Savanna, Necro Natalie, and Stephanie Weitekamp. The usual. No but seriously it's been a good week of adventure and art. I also was commissioned to shoot a video of live painting by a plethora of local street artists including Clinton Bopp, Andrea LaHue, Peter Greco, Jason Ostro, Hero, and Balloonski amongst others at an amazing downtown event called "Night On Broadway". I'll definitely post that up when it's done in addition to some killer photos I took.
Today though all I want to think about is the wonderful desert. I've written many times here about how much I love the desert so I knew that's where I'd be heading when Cindy Paola and I made plans to do our first solo shoot together (I previously shot with Cindy and Kira Lawrence covered in vampire makeup). Cindy and I headed to one of my signature locations, Vasquez Rocks. Cindy is an avid rave girl so I asked her to bring some of her fun rave outfits and she did not disappoint. We had a killer shoot and so much fun together. Afterward we decided to head back the more scenic way through the Angeles National Forest until we got about halfway and the road was blocked off due to an accident and we had to go all the way back and then around on the more boring highways. Still we had an amazing adventure and have shot together in another desert location since but that is for another day. For now enjoy!
