Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I know it's been radio silence here on the site since September but I'm back bay-bay! Actually those that follow my social media know that I have been working on a few things including new set pages for all my Muses. In fact if you have any favorite muses and you simply type "kungfubreakfast.com/" followed by the name of your favorite muse. I'm currently working on Muses master page and a complete restructuring of the entire site but I wanted to give an update as to what was going on. Throughout the Muses pages you'll these six months worth of new sets. Part of the problem with the previous way I was doing things was not releasing sets right away but often times waiting to put them out sometimes up to six months later. Going forward I will be releasing brand new sets within a week or two of shooting. Conversely I'll no longer be doing individual blog posts for each set but rather more frequent (at least weekly) updates with all new sets posted (at least that's the plan). In addition to this blog make sure you follow my social media for updates.
Ok! Phew! Lots of info. This week I had five shoots. I began my week heading out last Sunday to the industrial Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles to check out KFBabes Beah & Cecilia Romero's band Flames of Durga play at Outside The Rooms (a free show put on by Wild Riot and Bender Flow at The Row DTLA). The girls (and boy not to forget their wonderful drummer/Cecilia's boyfriend) did an amazing job and we made tentative plans for a new shoot).
Monday I got together with one of my all-time favorite collaborators Cindy Clark aka Girlwolf. Cindy headed up from her beachside homestead to my neck of the woods so I could put her in what I deem to be her natural environment and one of my regular spots: Switzer Falls. Of course Girlwolf thrived in that spot, we shot some cool guitar stuff, took some of our first full nudes together, and even saw Bobcat!
Tuesday I picked up the Kooki Munsta who recently moved really close to me and I did my second investigation of the mysterious abandoned George Air Force in Victorville. Kooki has reallllly come in to our as a model and we did one of our best shoots yet with Kooki channelling one of my all-time favorite characters in all fiction TANK GIRL!
Wednesday was a double header starting with a daytime appearance by The Spritely One. Sprite's been dealing with the unfortunate air pollution caused by the ongoing major fires out in Ventura so we kept things fairly low key by taking a trip locally to Devil's Gate Dam followed by a shoot outside my very own apartment building. Even though we kept things on the DL the photos are still epic as Sprite and I continue to see the magic we make together is strong.
After my killer Sprite shoot I met up with my friend and frequent collaborator Alondra Excene Shields. During a previous shoot with Alondra she brought a rad pair of rave glasses that refract the light in to hearts. I requested Alondra brings the glasses again to experiment further with them AND visit one of the various Candy Cane Lanes (this one being in nearby Woodland Hills) for some Christmas photos. Not only did Alondra bring the glasses but she had a second pair from the same company that refracted the light in a different way. The results are amazing but it was freaking cold (cold for LA) so we headed back to Alondra's place for our last location. We spent about an hour untangling lights and shot some very sexy stuff including some killer stuff with a dope latex outfit provided by Black Licorish Latex.
Anyway, that's my week! Below are links to all the new sets so enjoy!
