Well today is the day aka Inauguration Day for what will likely be our worst President of the Modern Era. I don't want to be overly dramatic but sometimes this does feel like the darkest timeline. Of course the fact that it's been raining non-stop all day somewhat adds to that feeling. Don't get me wrong, I love the rain. But there's just a certain point when there's too much. Like last December at Art Basel in Miami with Angelina Christina and Fanakapan. The first day it rained it was like, "Oh how fun", but the next three weeks of rain it was like, "What the fuck?". I shouldn't complain too much as I able to get in a few shoots and avoid the rain. This week I met up with one of my new favorite models Liza as she took me to a former missile site in Chatsworth that I had never been to. It was beautiful that day and we got some killer shots. The next day I headed out to the deserts of Joshua Tree with Cindy Paola for our second shoot (first one should be posted very soon). I capped off the week yesterday with a short jaunt with Angelina Christina to put an anti-graffiti coating on the 4th Street piece in Downtown LA.
Today I just want to escape to somewhere far away from here like New Zealand so I thought it would be a good chance to debut a new set with the return of my favorite kiwi Em Wafer! Em returned to the United States for another week long trip and I got a couple chances to shoot with her. In this first set we headed out for a night shoot around Beverly Hills, Downtown and Hollywood. We had a fun time catching up and taking some rad photos. It was great seeing Em and photographing her in this first of two new sets. Someday I'd like to head to New Zealand to photograph her there but for now enjoy!
