Bam bam bam! Two days, two posts. Being home for a minute is wonderful because I have time to sit back, organize my work, and my thoughts. Yesterday I had a great shoot with the wonderful Julia Arnold. Julia and I first shot together late last year after meeting at a Halloween party in Lincoln Heights. We had a great time together during our first shoot and intended to shoot together regularly and then life just seemed to happen. I was stoked we got together again and it was magic. We made plans to start shooting together regularly so hopefully we stick to it this time!
Some subjects you only get one or two shots though because of various factors such as location. When I travel I try to get a few shoots together if possible as was the case back in March when I was in Florida for my parents' 40th Wedding Anniversary. I was stoked to fit in four shoots! I've already released three including: Vampira Bitely, Lauren Nicole, and Jessi Monique. The fourth set is actually the first set I shot during the trip as I headed to Wynwood to meet up with street artist NM Salgar. I hadn't been to Wynwood since Art Basel so all of these memories of the months prior came flooding back as NM and I walked around and talked about all sorts of things including the Miami street art scene, her days as a combat sports competitor, and a plethora of other topics. NM is cooler than the other side of the pillow and I'm sure our paths will cross again so for now enjoy the last of my Florida model sets.
