Here we are on the last day of my two week trip to Florida, only a handful of hours away from heading back to LA. During my time in Florida I did four photoshoots, spent a plethora of time with my family (including more photos), travelled all the way between St. Augustine and Miami, and caught up on some much needed self-reflection. So it's only fitting that today also be the final day of Annie Motel Appreciation Week.
For today's set I went back to the archives, through each set Annie and I shot in 2015 going back to our very first shoot together, and looked through the original photos that just didn't make the cut. It's difficult to pick photos for a set because often there are perfectly good images but for one reason or another I chose not to include them. Sometimes those photos just fall through the cracks because I didn't see something in them at the time that I see now from a fresh perspective. Other times I think there is an image conveying the same idea but in a more effective way. Other times I'm really not sure what I was thinking at the time so it's nice that I can present these outtakes to you today.
Annie Motel has been a really important part of my life since she came in to it and I really appreciate her participation in our first ever appreciation week here at Kung Fu Breakfast. For now click the photo below and enjoy all of our outtakes.
