I'm not a big believe in segmenting my life. If one aspect of my life is good enough to be a part of it then another should be as well and I just trust that if all is well those things will work out. I've always been very open with my family about taboo things like my involvement in the fetish world, drug usage, etc. I try to introduce my friends to each other whenever I can. And I've been very lucky to be able to mix and marry my love for portraiture and street art. Fortunately some people you meet just make it easy, like my friend Lisa Caraway (returning for her third set!). Lisa and I share a mutual love for street art. You'll recall we first met earlier this year because Lisa was posting killer photos in front of my some of Angelina Christina's work. When Angelina and I took one of our many trips together to The Salton Sea we met up with Lisa and some of her friends that led to my first set with Lisa and some light painting in East Jesus. During that first trip Lisa accidentally left behind a sleeping bag that Angelina and I were fortunate enough to be able to retrieve for her.
A few months later I was able to finally get the sleeping bag back to Lisa when we both happened to be in Downtown LA. Since we were meeting up for the sleeping bag we decided to put together a quick shoot. We walked around the Arts District admiring some of our favorite street art amongst other things and had a great shoot together. This would be our third shoot together that was a relatively fixed time since she had to go teach a yoga class but I cherish any time we spend together making art. We are also currently making some plans for an epic shoot that I'm sure won't disappoint. For now please enjoy this beautiful ray of sunshine known as Lisa Caraway.
